Gym overview in cronowiz Studio: active members, today's classes, subscriptions and medical certificates to follow up, with phone numbers alongside

Many gyms know how much they took in at the end of the month; far fewer know how many members they lost. Those are different numbers: a month with good sales can hide a steady loss of members who do not renew, masked by new sign-ups who will not stay long.

Studio calculates the figures from data you already record. Active means members with a valid membership; new means those who joined in the period; lost means a lapse of more than 30 days without renewal. The renewal rate shows how many of those due to expire stayed on. Alongside are sales, booked classes, no-shows and workouts for members linked to an athlete.

Every figure is compared with the same period of the month before, so you see the direction and not just the number. The program costs €199 once, works offline and the data does not leave the computer; if you want to work on it elsewhere, the CSV export opens in any spreadsheet.

  • Renewal rate

how many of the expiring memberships were renewed.

  • Classes and no-shows

  • Comparison and export

How to read it

Start with active members: if they are falling, check whether it is because of few new members or many lost ones. Those are different problems. Few new members is a marketing question; many lost is a question of service, timetable or atmosphere.

Then the renewal rate. It is the most useful number to follow over time, because it tells you how well the gym keeps the people it already has. If it drops, the at-risk list tells you whom to call.

Finally, classes and no-shows. A class with many bookings and many no-shows has a different problem from a class with few bookings. Comparing with the previous month stops you overreacting to one bad month.

Limits

The report is only as good as the data you enter. If not every sale is recorded, or no-shows are not marked, the figures will show it. Studio is not accounting software: sales are those recorded in the program, not bank transactions, and they do not replace your bookkeeping.

There is no web dashboard to check from outside the gym. The report opens on the computer where Studio runs; to share it, export the CSV.

Where the numbers come from

Active, new and lost members come from the memberships you sell, renew, suspend and cancel. Sales are those recorded at the point of sale. Booked classes and no-shows come from the schedule, provided you mark who did not turn up after each class. Workouts come from members linked to an athlete, through cronowiz app backups or imported .fit files.

There is nothing extra to fill in to get the report: if day-to-day work goes through Studio, the figures are already there at the end of the month.
