AI coach

An AI fitness coach that reads your actual numbers

A coach that has not seen your last four weeks is a search engine with a friendly tone.

What makes coaching worth anything is context: how much you have trained, how the last sessions felt, whether the fatigue is the productive kind. Without that, advice defaults to the same handful of sensible generalities, and you could have got those anywhere.

cronoWiz builds the context from what it already has. Training load on the Banister model, the rolling RPE from your post-session feedback, today’s readiness, the last seven sessions and the plan for the day are assembled into every exchange. Tap the readiness pill and it explains in three or four sentences why you are in push, moderate or recover today, citing the numbers it used.

The model runs on your device through WebGPU, so none of that leaves the phone. Five personalities are available and they change tone only — the data and the guardrails are identical across all of them, and none will offer a medical opinion.

  • It cites your figures

TSB, recent RPE and the last session, rather than general advice.

  • It adapts the session

a rule-based layer modulates today’s work against fatigue and recent effort.

  • Nothing is sent anywhere

the model runs on the device; prompts and conversation never leave it.

  • It knows its limits

it is not a doctor, a physiotherapist or a coach, and it says so.

No account. No server. No cookies. Just you, your phone, and an app that minds its own business. cronoWiz is a free PWA that runs entirely on your device — your data never leaves. Ever.

The questions people actually ask

Which model is it?

Llama 3.2 1B by default, with Gemma 2 2B as an opt-in. Weights are downloaded once — about 700 MB — and kept locally, so it comes back in seconds after that.

Does it need internet?

Only for the one-time download of the weights. After that the coach answers with no connection at all.

What if my phone cannot run it?

It needs WebGPU. Without it the coach simply stays off and every other part of the app — timers, programs, diary, load monitoring — works exactly the same.

Can it replace a real coach?

No, and the prompts say so explicitly. Its job is to make the data you already have legible and the plan adaptable, not to diagnose anything.
